MALACAÑANG PALACE Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES Proclamation No. 365 AMENDING PROCLAMATION NUMBERED SEVEN HUNDRED FORTY-TWO, SERIES OF NINETEEN HUNDRED AND THIRTY-FOUR, BY MODIFYING THE DESCRIPTION OF THE BOUNDARIES OF THE MAULAWIN SPRING WATERSHED FOREST RESERVE. Upon the recommendation of the Director of Forestry, approved by the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce, and pursuant to the provisions of section eighteen hundred and twenty-six of Act Numbered Twenty-seven hundred and eleven, known as the Revised Administrative Code, I, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, hereby amend Proclamation Numbered Seven hundred forty-two, series of nineteen hundred and thirty-four, by modifying the description of the boundaries of the Maulawin Spring Watershed Forest Reserve, situated in the municipality of Guinayangan, Province of Tayabas, Island of Luzon, and described in the Bureau of Forestry map No. F. R. 41-1, to wit: Beginning at corner 1, indicated on map F. R. 41-1, a rock, marked F. Z. 47, identical to corner 1, Maulawin Spring _f Watershed Forest Reserve (old), which is N. 70° W., about 1,500 meters from the poblacion of the municipality of Guinayangan, Province of Tayabas; thence S. 20° E., 290 meters to corner 2, a bolongeta tree, 20 cm. in diameter, marked F. R. 1358/17, identical to corner 2, Maulawin Spring Watershed Forest Reserve (old) ; thence following a trail in west, southwesterly directions, about 280 meters to corner 3, an apitong tree, 90 cm. in diameter, marked F. R. 1358/32, identical to corner 3, Maulawin Spring Watershed Forest Reserve (old) ; thence following a trail in west, southwesterly directions, about 190 meters to corner 4, an apitong tree, 40 cm. in diameter, marked F. Corners 1, 3, to 5, 7, and 20 to 29 were marked with the official marking hatchet B. F. No. 260; corner 2 was marked with B. F. No. 225; corner 6 was marked with B. F. No. 223; corner 8 was marked with B. F. No. 8; and corners 9 to 18 were marked with B. F. No. 50. This forest reserve contains an area of 204 hectares. Amended in order to include the adjoining public forest having 60 hectares. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines to be affixed.
