AUTHORIZING THE GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS (GACPA) TO HOLD A CONVENTION-SEMINAR, AND ENJOINING ATTENDANCE THEREIN.
The government Association of Certified Public Accountants (GACPA) will hold a convention-seminar in Cebu City from. May 1 to 3, 1975 on the theme: “The Role of the Government CPA in Sectoral and Regional Approaches to National Development”, to sharpen the awareness of CPA’s in the government service with the current concepts and requirements of social and economic development, thus providing them the opportunity to explore ways and means by which they can maximize their contribution towards the common task of nation-building.
National and local offices including government-owned or controlled corporations are hereby authorized to send not more than three (3) of their CPA’s who are members of the GACPA as well as other officials and employees who have responsibilities connected with fiscal administration to the convention. Various regional offices may send two (2) representatives each. This limitation as to number shall not apply to conference officials and members of conference working committees. Those attending shall be allowed reasonable expenses for transportation, conference fees and other incidental expenses, chargeable against the appropriation of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements. It is understood that the participants residing within the site of the conference shall be entitled to reasonable expenses for transportation and conference fees only.
The participants shall submit to their respective office heads within thirty (30) days upon the termination of the convention-seminar a report on their attendance therein.1aшphi1
