URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE FIFTH NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF THE PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION FOR GOVERNMENT BUDGET ADMINISTRATION, INC.

The Philippine Association for Government Budget Administration, Inc. (PAGBA), will held its 5th National Conference in Baguio City on June 22-24, 1969, on the theme: “The Role of Budget Administrators in the Government Reorganization.”

The purpose of the conference is to take up measures by which the budget administrators can help in promoting efficiency and economy in the government service as contemplated in the Reorganization Act.1âшphi1

All offices and agencies in the national and local levels, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send to this conference three (3) of their employees who are directly involved in budget administration, in addition to the officers who are in charge of the affair. Their attendance shall be an official business, that is, on official time and with expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging and conference fees, all chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability thereof and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

The delegates shall submit a report on their attendance to their respective agency heads.
