URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE NINTH NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON PUBLIC PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION.

The Personnel Officers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (POAP), with the technical assistance of the Civil Service Commission, will hold its Ninth National Conference Public Personnel Administration on April 19-21, 1967, at the Social Security System Social Hall, East Avenue, Quezon City, on the theme: “The Government Employee and Social Uplift.”

The objective of the conference is to explore avenues through which government officials and employees could effectively contribute their share towards the attainment of national social and economic advancement as envisioned under the Administration’s four-year economic program.

Considering the timeliness and importance of the conference, all heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices, chartered cities, provincial and Municipal governments, including government owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send not more than three (3) officials and employees responsible for personnel work in their respective offices, preferably those who are members of the Personnel Officers Association of the Philippines, Inc., to attend the Conference. Their attendance shall be on official time and their expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging and conference fees in connection therewith shall be chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

The delegates shall submit to their respective agency ads a report of their attendance and participation in the conference.1âшphi1
