[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 475, August 15, 1991 ]
REDUCING THE RATE OF ADDITIONAL DUTY PRESCRIBED IN EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 443, SERIES OF 1991, TO FIVE PERCENT (5%) AD VALOREM
Pursuant to the powers vested in me by Section 401 of the Tariff and Customs Code of the Philippines, as amended, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby order:
Section 1. Subject to the provisions of Section 2 hereof, the rate of additional duty imposed on all imports under Executive Order No. 443, series of 1991, is hereby reduced from nine per cent (9%) to five per cent (5%) ad valorem with the exception of selected articles covered by HS Heading Nos. 27.09 and 27.10 of Section 104 of the tariff and Customs Code indicated in Annex “A” hereof, which shall continue to be subject to the additional duty of nine per cent (9%) ad valorem.
Section 2. The provisions of aforesaid Executive Order No. 443 on importations exempt from the additional duty, and all rules and regulations issued pursuant thereto shall remain valid and effective.
Section 3. This Executive Order shall take effect after two (2) days following the completion of its publication and shall remain effective unless sooner revoked or modified.
