[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 12141, March 27, 2025 ]
AN ACT CONVERTING THE EXTENSION OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE LOCATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BURGOS, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE, INTO A REGULAR DISTRICT OFFICE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. The extension office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) located in the Municipality of Burgos, Province of Ilocos Norte, is hereby converted into a regular district, to be known as the Burgos LTO District Office.ℒαwρhi৷
Section 2. The Secretary of the Department of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of the Burgos LTO District Office, the initial funding of which shall be charged against the current year's appropriation of the Burgos LTO Extension Office located in the Municipality of Burgos, Province of Ilocos Norte. Thereafter, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3. This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following the completion of its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
