AN ACT UPGRADING THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE (LTO) DISTRICT OFFICE IN SAN JOSE CITY, PROVINCE OF NUEVA ECIJA INTO A CLASS B LTO DISTRICT OFFICE, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The Land Transportation Office (LTO) district office in San Jose City, Province of Nueva Ecija is hereby upgraded into a Class B district office.ℒαwρhi৷

Section 2. The Secretary of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's program the upgrading of the LTO district office in San Jose City, Province of Nueva Ecija, the initial funding of which shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the existing Land Transportation Office (LTO) district office in San Jose City. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for the continued operation of the upgraded San Jose City LTO District Office shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives on February 23, 2021, amended by the Senate of the Philippines on January 31, 2022, and which amendment was concurred in by the House of Representatives on February 2, 2022.
