Seventeenth Congress Third Regular Session Begun and held in Metro Manila, on Monday, the twenty-third day of July, two thousand eighteen. REPUBLIC ACT No. 11442 An Act Declaring February 3 of Every Year a Special Working Holiday in the City of Biñan, Province of Laguna, to be Known as "Biñan Liberation Day" Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled: Section 1. February 3 of every year is hereby declared a special working holiday in the City of Biñan, Province of Laguna, in commemoration of the liberation of the town of Biñan, now the City of Biñan, from the Japanese Imperial Forces, to be known as "Biñan Liberation Day". Upon proclamation of the President, February 3 of every year shall be a special nonworking holiday in the City of Biñan, Province of Laguna. Section 2. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.1âшphi1 Approved, (Sgd) VICENTE C.
