REPUBLIC ACT No. 9468             May 15, 2007
AN ACT RENAMING BAY BOULEVARD LOCATED IN PASAY CITY, EXTENDING UP TO PARAÑAQUE CITY, AS JOSE W. DIOKNO BOULEVARD
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1. The approximately 4.38 kilometer stretch of road located in the cities of Pasay and Parañaque, which is now known as Bay Boulevard and which begins at its intersection with Roxas Boulevard where Gil Puyat Avenue terminates (specifically from Roxas Boulevard heading west past the World Trade Center, veering south past the GSIS Complex to Libertad Channel - 1.45 kilometers) passing through CBP 1 Island "A" (Libertad Channel to Redemptorist Channel- 1.28 kilometers) and CBP 1 Island "B" and "C" (Redemptorist Channel to Asiaworld Property - 1.65 kilometers) , is hereby renamed as Jose W. Diokno Boulevard.
Sec. 2. The Department of Public Works and Highways is hereby directed to place the appropriate street names and markers along Jose W. Diokno Boulevard.
Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on December 20, 2006 and February 19, 2007, respectively.
