REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9221 August 08, 2003
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NEW QUEZON SECOND DISTRICT ENGINEERING OFFICE TO BE LOCATED IN LUCENA CITY AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Department of Public Works and Highways, a second engineering district to be located in Lucena City, Province of Quezon to be known as the New Quezon Second Engineering District.
Section 2. The New Quezon Second Engineering District shall comprise Lucena City and the municipalities of Sariaya, Candelaria, Tiaong, San Antonio and Dolores.
Section 3. The Secretary of the Department of Public Works and Highways shall include in its program the funding requirements for the operationalization of the New Quezon Second Engineering District in the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
