REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9108 April 14, 2001
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AT THE SOUTHERN COMMAND (SOUTHCOM), CALARIAN, CITY OF ZAMBOANGA TO BE KNOWN AS SOUTHCOM NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, a national high school at the Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) in Calarian, City of Zamboanga to be known as SOUTHCOM National High School.
Section 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on August 22, 2000 and February 5, 2001, respectively.
