REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9098 April 08, 2001
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CABARROGUIS, PROVINCE OF QUIRINO TO BE KNOWN AS THE TUCOD NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. There is hereby established a national high school in the Municipality of Cabarroguis, Province of Quirino to be known as the Tucod National High School.
Section 2. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports shall implement this Act and shall take the necessary steps for the establishment of the school.
Section 3. The new school shall hire its administrative staff and school principal who shall be responsible in the hiring of new staff. They shall receive compensation and privileges in accordance with the Revised Compensation and Position Classification System.
Section 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
Section 5. All laws, decrees, orders, rules and regulations contrary to and inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed accordingly.
Section 6. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on August 22, 2000 and February 5, 2001, respectively.
