[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8933, August 22, 2000 ]

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY MALABAN, BIŅAN, LAGUNA TO BE KNOWN AS THE NEREO R. JOAQUIN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS) a national high school in Barangay Malaban, Biņan, Laguna to be known as the Nereo R. Joaquin National High School.

Section 2. The amount necessary for the implementation of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.ℒαwρhi৷

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on February 16, 2000 and May 22, 2000, respectively.
