AN ACT INCLUDING THE CITY OF ANGELES IN THE COVERAGE OF THE JOSE ABAD SANTOS DAY, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED SEVENTY-FIVE FIFTY-TWO AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. Section 1 of Republic Act Numbered Seventy-five fifty-two is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 1. May seven of every year is hereby declared as a special nonworking holiday in the Province of Pampanga and the City of Angeles to be known as the Jose Abad Santos Day."
Section 2. Effectivity. - This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days from its publication in the Official Gazette or in at least two (2) newspapers of national circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on August 17, 1999 and May 29, 2000, respectively.
