[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8813, August 21, 2000 ]
AN ACT DECLARING MARCH TWENTY-TWO OF EVERY YEAR AS MALAYBALAY CITY CHARTER DAY AND A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF MALAYBALAY IN ORDER TO COMMEMORATE THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE SAID CITY
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. In order to commemorate the charter anniversary of the City of Malaybalay, March twenty-two of every year is hereby declared as Malaybalay City Charter Day and a special working holiday in the said city.
Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on August 17, 1999 and May 29, 2000, respectively.
