AN ACT CONVERTING THE PUERTO PRINCESA CITY PILOT HIGH SCHOOL - STA. MONICA ANNEX IN THE CITY OF PUERTO PRINCESA, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN, INTO A NATIONAL SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE PUERTO PRINCESA CITY NATIONAL SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The existing locally funded Puerto Princesa City Pilot High School - Sta. Monica Annex in the City of Puerto Princesa, Province of Palawan, is hereby converted into a national science high school to be known as the Puerto Princesa City National Science High School.

Section 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.1aшphi1

Section 3. All personnel, records, assets, and properties, including buildings, sites, and the improvements thereof, obligations, funds and appropriations of the Puerto Princesa City Pilot High School - Sta. Monica Annex are hereby transferred to the Puerto Princesa City National Science High School.

Section 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

Section 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

Approved, Lapsed into law on May 3, 1997, without the signature of the President, in accordance Article VI, Section 27(1) of the Constitution.
