AN ACT CONVERTING THE PAGADIAN CITY COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY BANALE, PAGADIAN CITY, INTO A NATIONAL COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE PAGADIAN CITY NATIONAL COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. The Pagadian City Comprehensive High School in Barangay Banale, Pagadian City, is hereby converted into a national comprehensive high school to be known as the Pagadian City National Comprehensive High School.
Section 2. All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Pagadian City Comprehensive High School are transferred to and absorbed by the Pagadian City National Comprehensive High School.
Section 3. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports shall take the necessary steps for the conversion and operation of the school and for the effective implementation of this Act.1aшphi1
Section 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
Section 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Approved, Lapsed into law on May 3, 1997, without the signature of the President, in accordance with Article VI, Section 27 (1) of the Constitution.
