AN ACT SEPARATING THE CALIMBAJAN TINA BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL ANNEX IN BARANGAY CAYANGWAN, MAKATO, AKLAN, FROM THE CALIMBAJAN BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY CALIMBAJAN, AND CONVERTING IT INTO AN INDEPENDENT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE CAYANGWAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. The Calimbajan Tina Barangay High School Annex in Barangay Cayangwan, Makato, Aklan, is hereby separated from the Calimbajan Barangay High School in Barangay Calimbajan, and converted into an independent national high school, to be known as the Cayangwan National High School.
Section 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.
Section 3. All personnel, records, assets, and liabilities of the Calimbajan Tina Barangay High School Annex are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Cayangwan National High School.
Section 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.1aшphi1
Section 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Lapsed into law on June 5, 1995 without the President's signature, pursuant to Sec. 27(1), Article VI of the Constitution.
