AN ACT SEPARATING THE BALAO EXTENSION HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY BALAO, BARILI, CEBU, FROM THE LUHOD NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY LUHOD, AND CONVERTING IT INTO AN INDEPENDENT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE BALAO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. The Balao Extension High School in Barangay Balao, Municipality of Barili, Cebu, is hereby separated from the Luhod National High School in Barangay Luhod, and converted into an independent national high school to be known as the Balao National High School.
Section 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.1aшphi1
Section 3. All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Balao Extension High School are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Balao National High School.
Section 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
Section 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Lapsed into law on May 25, 1995 without the President's signature, pursuant to Sec. 27(1), Article VI of the Constitution.
