AN ACT CONVERTING THE BURAUEN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN STO. NIŅO, MUNICIPALITY OF BURAUEN, PROVINCE OF LEYTE, INTO A COMPREHENSIVE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE BURAUEN COMPREHENSIVE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. The Burauen National High School in Sto. Ni-o, Municipality of Burauen, Province of Leyte, is hereby converted into a national comprehensive high school to be known as the Burauen Comprehensive National High School.
Section 2. The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.1aшphi1
Section 3. All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Burauen National High School are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Burauen Comprehensive National High School.
Section 4. The amount necessary for the implementation of this Act shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Burauen National High School in Sto. Ni-o, Burauen, Leyte. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Lapsed into law on April 22, 1995 without the President's signature, pursuant to Sec. 27(1), Article VI of the Constitution.
