AN ACT DECLARING OCTOBER THIRTY-ONE OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL NONWORKING PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DUMANGAS, PROVINCE OF ILOILO, TO COMMEMORATE THE BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF COLONEL QUINTIN D. SALAS
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. October thirty-one of every year is hereby declared a special nonworking public holiday in the Municipality of Dumangas, Province of Iloilo, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Colonel Quintin D. Salas, a Visayan revolutionary hero of the Philippine-American War who serves as an inspiration to the Filipinos especially the Visayan and youth of the land.1a⍵⍴h!1
Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Lapsed into law on June 19, 1994 without the President's signature, pursuant to Sec. 27(1), Article VI of the Constitution.
