[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6692, February 10, 1989 ]
AN ACT DECLARING SEPTEMBER TWENTY-EIGHT AS BALANGIGA ENCOUNTER DAY AND A SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF EASTERN SAMAR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. September twenty-eight of every year is hereby declared as Balangiga Encounter Day and a special non-working holiday in the province of Eastern Samar to commemorate the Balangiga encounter.
Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.1a⍵⍴h!1
