[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6601, October 23, 1972 ]
AN ACT ESTABLISHING AN ARTIFICIAL BREEDING CENTER IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN PEDRO, PROVINCE OF ORIENTAL MINDORO, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR,
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. There is hereby established, under the supervision of the Bureau of Animal Industry, an artificial breeding center in the Municipality of San Pedro, Province of Oriental Mindoro, at a site to be selected by the Director of Animal Industry through donation, to be known as the San Pedro Artificial Breeding Center.1âшphi1
Section 2. The sum of one hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the construction of office-laboratory building, animal sheds, equipment, supplies and materials and such other expenses as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act.
Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
