[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6590, September 30, 1972 ]
AN ACT PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL COURSES TO BE OFFERED IN THE CATANDUANES STATE COLLEGES, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE CERTAIN SECTIONS OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED SIXTY-THREE HUNDRED FORTY-ONE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. Section one of Republic Act Numbered Sixty-three hundred forty-one is amended to read as follows:
"Section 1. The Virac National Agricultural and Trade School in the Municipality of Virac, Province of Catanduanes, is hereby converted into a college to be known as Catanduanes State Colleges, hereinafter called Colleges, which shall offer two-year courses leading to the titles of Associate in Arts in Nursing, Associate in Arts in Education, Associate in Business Education, Associate in Commerce; courses leading to the degrees of Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Bachelor of Science in Forestry, Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor Science in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Bachelor of Science in Business Education, Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Bachelor of Science in Education, and courses leading to degrees of Master of Arts in Business Education, Master of Arts in Education, and Master of Arts in Commerce, and such other courses that the Board Trustees may authorize."1âшphi1
Section 2. Subparagraph (c), Section six of the same Act is amended to read as follows:
"(c) To confer to successful candidates for graduation such titles and degrees authorized to be offered in Section one of this Act;"
Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
