AN ACT ESTABLISHING AN EMERGENCY HOSPITAL AT KILOMETER 90, HALSEMA MOUNTAIN HIGHWAY, PROVINCE OF BENGUET, TO BE KNOWN AS ABATAN EMERGENCY HOSPITAL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR.1âшphi1
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Medical Services, an emergency hospital at Kilometer 90, Halsema Mountain Highway, Province of Benguet, to be known as the Abatan Emergency Hospital. The site for the said hospital shall be determined by the Municipal Councils of the Municipalities of Mankayan and Buguias, all in the Province of Benguet, in consultation with the Director of Medical Services.
Section 2. The Secretary of Health shall promulgate rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry into effect the purpose of this Act.
Section 3. The sum of three hundred thousand pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said hospital for the fiscal year nineteen hundred seventy-two. Such sums as may necessary for its operation and maintenance in subsequent years shall be included in the General Appropriations Act.
Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
