[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6306, June 19, 1971 ]
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A BREEDING STATION IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN AGUSTIN, PROVINCE OF ISABELA, AND APPROPRIATING THE NECESSARY FUNDS THEREFOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. There shall be established under the direct supervision of the Director of Animal Industry a breeding station in the Municipality of San Agustin, Province of Isabela, to be known as the Southern Isabela Breeding Station.1âшphi1
Section 2. The Director of Animal Industry shall establish said breeding station on a suitable public or private land of not less than twenty-five hectares that may be reserved or acquired for the purpose.
Section 3. The sum of one hundred fifty thousand pesos is appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be expended by the Director of Animal Industry, subject to the approval of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, for the purchase of breeding animals; for the purchase of supplies and materials; for the construction of buildings, sheds, corrals and other structures; for the establishment of water system; for salaries and wages; and for other expenses as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act for the fiscal year nineteen hundred seventy-one. Such sums as may be necessary for the operation and maintenance of the said breeding station in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
