[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5763, June 21, 1969 ]
AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MATI, PROVINCE OF DAVAO ORIENTAL, TO BE KNOWN AS MATI SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Vocational Education, a school of arts and trades in the Municipality of Mati, Province of Davao Oriental, to be known as Mati School of Arts and Trades.
Section 2. The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to organize said school.1a⍵⍴h!1
Section 3. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred seventy. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.1a⍵⍴h!1
