REPUBLIC ACT No. 5103
An Act Amending Certain Sections of the "Judiciary Act of 1948" by Providing for an Additional Judge for the Ninth Judicial District, with Permanent Station in the Municipality of Labo, Province of Camarines Norte
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1. The ninth paragraph of Section fifty of Republic Act Numbered Two hundred and ninety-six, as amended, is hereby further amended to read as follows:
"Seven judges shall be commissioned for the Ninth Judicial District. Four judges shall preside over the Court of First Instance of Quezon, and shall be known as judges of first, second, third and fourth branches thereof, respectively; one judge shall preside over the Court of First Instance of the subprovince of Aurora; and two judges shall preside over the Court of First Instance of Camarines Norte, and shall be known as judges of the first and second branches thereof, respectively."
Section 2. The eight sub-paragraph of the second paragraph, Section fifty-two of the same Act, as amended, is further amended to read as follows:
"For the Ninth Judicial District, the two judges shall be stationed in the city of Lucena; one judge each shall be stationed in the Municipalities of Gumaca and Calauag, Province of Quezon; one judge, in the Municipality of Baler, Subprovince of Aurora; and one judge each, in the Municipalities of Daet and Labo, Province of Camarines Norte."
Section 3. Such sums as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated.1avvphi1
Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
