REPUBLIC ACT No. 5100

An Act Establishing the Minalungao National Park

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1. A parcel of the public domain situated in the municipalities of Gapan and General Tinio, Province of Nueva Ecija, is hereby declared as the Minalungao National Park. The following is its technical description:

thence N. 14° 00′ W., 520 meters to Cor. 3; thence N. 69° 00′ E., 550 meters to Cor. 4; thence S. 12° 00′ W., 150 meters to Cor. 5; thence S. 18 deg, 00′ W., 263 meters to Cor. 6; thence S. 32° 00′ E., 150 meters to Cor. 7; thence N. 39° 00′ E., 150 meters to Cor. 8; thence N. 33° 00′ E., 275 meters to Cor. 9; thence N. 14° 00′ E., 375 meters to Cor. 10; thence N. 14° 00′ E., 425 meters to Cor. 11; thence N. 50° 00′ E., 250 meters to Cor. 12; thence N. 05° 00′ W., 325 meters to Cor. 13; thence N. 08° 00′ E., 425 meters to Cor. 14; thence N. 11° 00′ E., 413 meters to Cor. 15; thence N. 06° 00′ E., 438 meters to Cor. 16; thence due East 4000 meters to Cor. 17; thence due South 1950 meters to Cor 19; thence due West 5000 meters to Cor. 20; thence N. 19° 24′ W., 499.08 meters to Cor. 21; thence N. 10° 10′ E., 153,99 meters to Cor. 22; thence N. 19° 44′ E., 218.18 meters to Corner 23; thence N. 21° 55′ W., 192.24 meters to Cor. 24; thence N. 35° 08′ W., 267.94 meters to the point of beginning, containing an area of two thousand eighteen (2,018) hectares, more or less. All points referred to are described on Plans (Bureau of Lands) Public Land System-49 and Land Classification-386.

Section 2. The Minalungao National Park shall be withdrawn from sale, settlement, or other disposition, subject to any existing private rights.

Section 3. The sum of one hundred fifty thousand pesos is appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the construction and development of recreational facilities in said park for the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-eight. The sum necessary for its maintenance in subsequent fiscal years shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
