REPUBLIC ACT No. 4766
An Act Establishing a Fresh-Water Fish Nursery Station at Billoca Lake in the Municipality of Batac, Province of Ilocos Norte, and Authorizing the Appropriation of Funds Therefor
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1. There shall be established and maintained, under the supervision of the Commissioner of Fisheries, a fresh-water fish nursery station at Billoca Lake in the Municipality of Batac, Province of Ilocos Norte.
Section 2. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to carry into effect the purposes of this Act during the fiscal year ending June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and sixty-seven. This amount shall be apportioned as follows:
a. Seventy thousand pesos for the procurement of the site and essential equipment and the installation of buildings and laboratories.1avvphi1
b. Thirty thousand pesos for the maintenance of personnel for the nursery station.
Thereafter, the amount of not less than fifty thousand pesos needed for maintenance and operation shall be included in the General Appropriations Act each year.
Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
