REPUBLIC ACT No. 4273
An Act to Establish a Breeding Station in the Province of Iloilo, to be Known as the San Joaquin Breeding Station, and to Authorize the Appropriation of Necessary Funds Therefor
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Animal Industry, a breeding station in the Province of Iloilo, on a suitable public or private land of not less than thirty hectares which may be reserved or acquired for the purpose, to be known as "San Joaquin Breeding Station."
Section 2. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, said sum to be expended by the Director of Animal Industry, subject to the approval of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, for the purchase of breeding animals, supplies and materials for the construction of buildings, a water system, sheds, corrals and other structures, salaries and wages; and for other expenses as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and sixty-six. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
