REPUBLIC ACT No. 3672
An Act Creating the Municipality of Flora in the Subprovince of Apayao, Mountain Province
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1. The barrios and sitios of Marcela, Bagutong, Sipa, Mabetuma, Buyon, Sinicol, Magurano, Mudsin, Bayog, Catawaran, Atoc, Altamalunog, Papagan, Magurao, Malubibit, Banitao, Daao, Anninipan, Allig, Abu, Lagac, Marimay, Malaganay, Casinitan, Coliman, Esperamia, Tacang, Tabangao, Pasingan, Consuelo, Caguliacoan, Balluyan and Oran in the Municipality of Pudtol, Subprovince of Apayao, Mountain Province, are separated from said municipality, and constituted into a distinct and independent municipality, to be known as the Municipality of Flora, Subprovince of Apayao, same province.
The seat of government of the new municipality shall be in the present site of the barrio of Bagutong.1âшphi1
The new Municipality of Flora shall be bounded on the North by the Luna-Pudtol municipal boundary; on the East by the Mountain Province-Cagayan provincial boundary; on the South by the Tawit River; and on the West by the Apayao River until its intersection to the Tawit River.1âшphi1
Section 2. The first mayor, vice-mayor and councilors of the new municipality shall be appointed by the President alone and shall hold office until their successors shall have been elected in the next general elections for local officials and shall have qualified.
Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
