[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2697, June 18, 1960 ]
AN ACT CREATING A DEPARTMENT AND ADDITIONAL POSITIONS IN THE GENERAL AUDITING OFFICE AND PROVIDING FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION THEREOF.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. There is hereby created a department under the Office of the Auditor General, General Auditing Office, to be known as the Program Audit Department, with the following positions and appropriation for its operation:
I. Personal Services

Section 2. There is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the amount of one hundred eighty-eight thousand, six hundred fifty pesos and forty centavos for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and sixty-one. The corresponding appropriation for the succeeding fiscal years shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 1960.1a⍵⍴h!1
