[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 927, June 20, 1953 ]
AN ACT CONVERTING THE BAÑGA RURAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE ISLAND OF PANAY, TO A NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE PANAY NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL, AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. The Banga Rural High School located in the municipality of Banga, Province of Capiz, in the Island of Panay, is hereby converted to a national agricultural school of the Central Luzon Agricultural School type, to be known as the Panay National Agricultural School. The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to reorganize said school accordingly.1a⍵⍴h!1
Section 2. The sum of one hundred and fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation and maintenance of said school for the school year nineteen hundred and fifty to nineteen hundred and fifty-one. The necessary funds for the purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.
Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
