REPUBLIC ACT No. 310
An Act Recreating the Revolving Fund, Known as "The Public Land Survey and Subdivision Fund," Intended to Hasten the Subdivision of Public Agricultural Land as Provided for Under Commonwealth Act Numbered Six Hundred Thirty, and for Other Purposes
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1. The revolving fund, known as "The Public Land Survey and Subdivision Fund" which has been provided for under Commonwealth Act Numbered Six hundred and thirty and the unexpended balance of which has been transferred to the General Fund in the Philippine Treasury and appropriated for expenditure, in the discretion of the President of the Philippines, for the national defense of, and the protection of the civilian population in, the Philippines under Commonwealth Act Numbered Six hundred and thirty, is hereby recreated to enable the Bureau of Lands to undertake the survey, delimitation, and subdivision of lands of the public domain.
Section 2. The sum of ten million pesos is appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to constitute "The public Land Survey and Subdivision Fund," which shall be expended by the Director of Lands, with the approval of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, in carrying out the purposes of Commonwealth Act Numbered Six hundred and thirty.1aшphi1
The sum of two million shall be released and/or expended annually from the said Fund during the period of five years for the purpose herein stated, and the balance at the end of any fiscal year shall continue to form part of the said Fund and shall be available for expenditure in the next following fiscal year and other subsequent years.
Section 3. Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the President shall make any amount or portion of this sum available to the Bureau of Forestry to undertake the classification and delimitation of forest lands under the public domain.
Section 4. This Act shall take effect as of July first, nineteen hundred and forty-eight.
