REPUBLIC ACT No. 233
An Act to Amend Section One of Republic Act Numbered Seventy
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1. Section one of Republic Act Numbered Seventy is amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 1. It shall be unlawful for any vessel of Philippine register, engaged in coastwise trade, with a carrying capacity of one hundred fifty or more passengers and regularly making voyages lasting more than twenty-four hours without touching port, to sail or attempt to sail from any port of the Philippines unless it has in its complement a physician, or a male nurse if carrying less than one hundred fifty passengers and none if carrying less than seventy-five passengers."
Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.1aшphi1
