AMENDING SECTION 1 OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 897 FIXING MINIMUM PRICES OF LOCALLY GROWN VIRGINIA LEAF TOBACCO, TO PROVIDE FOR NEW MINIMUM PRICES THEREOF
WHEREAS, after further studies, it has been established that the existing minimum prices of locally produced Virginia leaf tobacco as set forth in Presidential Decree No. 897 are by present standards still inadequate, considering the high cost of production;

Section 1. Section 1 of Presidential Decree No. 897 is hereby amended to read as follows:

GRADE B | 7.50 per kilogram |
GRADE C | 7.00 per kilogram |
GRADE D | 6.50 per kilogram |
