AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF THREE MONTHS' ADVANCE PAY OF OFFICIALS, EMPLOYEES AND LABORERS OF THE COMMONWEALTH GOVERNMENT WHO HAVE NOT RECEIVED SAME AT THE OUTBREAK OF THE WAR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in Congress Assembled:
Section 1. Officials, employees annd laborers who may not have received the three months advance pay at the outbreak of the war shall be paid the same from any available funds in the 1945-1946 appropriations for the offices concerned.
Section 2. Provinces, chartered cities, municipalities, municipal districts and government-owned or controlled corporations may avail themselves of the provisions of this Act if their finances warrant the extension of the benefits of said provisions to its officials and employees: Provided, That the provinces, cities, municipalities or municipal districts which shall receive aid from the National Government shall not utilize any portion thereof to pay the three months' advance salary authorized by this Act.ℒαwρhi৷
Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
