AN ACT TO SUSPEND THE EFFECT OF SECTIONS THREE AND FOUR OF COMMONWEALTH ACT NUMBER ED FIVE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SEVEN, FOR THE YEAR BEGINNING JULY FIRST, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND THIRTY-NINE, AND ENDING JUNE THIRTY, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND FORTY, INSOFAR AS THEY AFFECT OWNERS OR PERSONS IN CONTROL OF SUGAR LANDS.

Be it enacted by the National Assembly of the Philippines:

Section 1. The operation and effect of sections three and four of Commonwealth Act Numbered Five hundred and sixty-seven are suspended for the year beginning July first, nineteen hundred an d thirty-nine, and ending June thirty, nineteen hundred and forty, insofar as they affect owners or persons in control of sugar lands ceded to others under contracts of lease or otherwise.ℒαwρhi৷

Section 2.- This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
