AN ACT TO REDUCE THE CADASTRAL COST DUE FROM LANDOWNERS IN CADASTRAL SURVEYS UNDERTAKEN BY PRIVATE CORPORATIONS AND TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE

Be it enacted by the National Assembly of the Philippines:

Section 1. With the end in view of reducing the cadastral cost due from landowners in cadastral surveys undertaken and completed in accordance with the regulations of the Bureau of Lands by corporations created under Act Numbered Thirty-three hundred twenty-seven, the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce is authorized to purchase, at a price not in excess of what the survey would have cost if the Government itself executive the same, the collectible fees of the said corporations due from landowners. The estimate of the cost of the survey in each case shall be made by the Director of Lands and shall be passed upon by the Auditor General. The reduction in cost which will result by virtue of the provisions of this Act shall redound to the benefit of the landowners.

Section 2. Payments to the corporations which desire to avail themselves of the provisions of this Act shall be in such number of annual installments as the funds available for the purpose will permit. In addition to the collections which may be made under the provisions of section five of Act Numbered Thirty-three hundred twenty-seven, as amended by act Numbered Three thousand four hundred fifty-two, the Cadastral Revolving Fund provided for in section one thousand eight hundred fifty-seven of the Administrative Code, shall be made available for the purpose of this Act.(awÞhi(

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
