[ Commonwealth Act No. 328, June 18, 1938 ]
AN ACT TO AMEND COMMONWEALTH ACT NUMBERED SIXTY-SEVEN ENTITLED "AN ACT MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR PUBLIC WORKS."
Be it enacted by the National Assembly of the Philippines:
Section 1. Section one, paragraph (a), subsection A, item four of Commonwealth Act Numbered Sixty-seven, is amended so as to read as follows:
"4. Fireproof vaults for registers of deeds in provincial capitals where suitable vaults are not available, including expenses incurred in previous years ......... ₱50,000.00"
Section 2. Section one, paragraph (d), subsection A: Bohol, item numbered 17; Capiz, item numbered 5; Leyte, items numbered 14, 40, 44 and 47; Oriental Negros, item numbered 2; Sulu, item numbered 4 of Commonwealth Act Numbered Sixty-seven, is amended so as to read as follows:

Section 3. Section one, paragraph (d), subsection A of Commonwealth Act Numbered Sixty-seven is further amended by suppressing items numbered 2, 41 and 49 under the caption "Leyte."
Section 4. Section one, paragraph (l), subsection E, item numbered 8 of Commonwealth Act Numbered Sixty-seven sea" protection works is amended so as to read as follows:
"8. For the extension to the north of the Dalahican dyke, Cavite |

Section 5. Section two of Commonwealth Act Numbered Sixty-seven is amended so as to read as follows:
"Section 2. All balances of the several appropriations made by this Act, with the exception of the appropriations made in paragraphs (n), (o), (p), (q), (r), and (s), remaining unexpended on December thirty-first, nineteen hundred thirty-nine shall revert to the general funds in the National Treasury, and thereafter shall not be available for expenditure except upon appropriation by the National Assembly; and all balances of the appropriations made in paragraphs (n), (o), (p), (q), (r), and (s), remaining unexpended on December thirty-first, nineteen hundred and thirty-nine shall revert to the "Port Works Fund" created by Act Numbered Three thousand five hundred and ninety-two and thereafter shall not be available for expenditure except as provided in said Act."
Section 6. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.(awÞhi(
