AN ACT PROVIDING FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION OF SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS FOR THE REVOLVING FUND OF THE BUREAU OF PRINTING TO BE USED EXCLUSIVELY IN THE PRINTING AND BINDING OF CENSUS FORMS AND CENSUS VOLUMES, AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR DISTRIBUTION AND SALE.

Be it enacted by the National Assembly of the Philippines:

Section 1. The sum of six hundred thousand pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated out of any funds in the Philippine Treasury not otherwise appropriated to be added to the "Bureau of Printing Revolving Fund" to be spent exclusively for the printing and binding of census forms and census volumes provided for in Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred seventy: Provided, That the census volumes shall be accounted for as salable documents of the Bureau of Printing and shall be vendible to the public at large at prices to be fixed by the Secretary of Finance upon recommendation of the Director of Printing, and that the proceeds of the sale of such volumes shall accrue to the said revolving fund of the Bureau of Printing.(awÞhi(

Section 2. Each department, bureau or office of the National Government, including government-owned corporations and all branch libraries, and each provincial and municipal government shall subscribe for at least one set of the said census volumes and pay for the same out of their respective funds. Such copies shall be filed and properly kept with the public records for reference purposes.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
