[ Commonwealth Act No. 162, November 09, 1936 ]

AN ACT AMENDING SECTION FOUR HUNDRED AND NINETY-NINE OF ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-SEVEN HUNDRED AND ELEVEN, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE REVISED ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, REGARDING THE RIGHT OF MILITARY AUTHORITIES TO EJECT INTRUDERS FROM MILITARY RESERVATIONS.

Be it enacted by the National Assembly of the Philippines:

Section 1. Section four hundred and ninety-nine of the Revised Administrative Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

"Section 499. Right of military authorities to eject intruders.ℒαwρhi৷-The military authorities of the United States and of the Commonwealth of the Philippines shall have the right to eject any intruder or trespasser on any public lands reserved for military purposes in the Philippines, and to suppress open breaches of the peace and abate nuisances thereon."

Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
