AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION EIGHT OF ACT NUMBERED THIRTY-FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY-FIVE, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO REGULATE THE MANUFACTURE, IMPORTATION, AND SALE OF GALVANIZED IRON, BARBED WIRE, AND NAILS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES."

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in
Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:

Section 1. Section eight of Act Numbered Thirty-five hundred and ninety-five, entitled "An Act to regulate the manufacture, importation, and sale of galvanized iron, barbed wire, and nails, and for other purposes," is hereby amended to read as follows:

"Section 8. It shall be the duty of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce to see that the provisions of this Act are complied with, and to cause all violations thereof to be prosecuted in the courts of justice in accordance with the ordinary procedure; and to prescribe and enforce such rules and regulations as he may deem necessary for carrying into effect the full intent and meaning of this Act.

"For the purpose of enforcing the provisions of this Act, members of the Philippine Constabulary, members of the municipal and municipal district police, and such employees of the Bureau of Commerce, agents of the Bureau of Internal Revenue, and inspectors, guards and examiners of the Bureau of Customs, and other persons as may be designated in writing lay the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce are hereby made deputies of said Department Head, with full authority to enforce the provisions of this Act and the regulations promulgated thereunder."

Section 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.1aшphi1
