AN ACT CEDING THE USUFRUCT OF THE FISHERIES SITUATED IN THE LOCALITY KNOWN AS MANGABUL COMPRISED IN PLAN NUMBER IPD. NINETY-TWO OF THE BUREAU OF LANDS AND RECENTLY DECLARED BY THE COURTS AS PUBLIC LAND, TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYAMBANG, PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in
Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:
Section 1. The fisheries situated in the locality known as Mangabul, Bayambang, Pangasinan, and falling within Plan Number Ipd. Ninety-two of the Bureau of Lands, and recently declared by the courts as public land, is hereby reserved and the usufruct thereof ceded to the municipality of Bayambang, Province of Pangasinan, to be used or disposed of in accordance with the general municipal law relative to the letting of fisheries in municipal waters: Provided, That the timber and other forest products therein shall be placed under the administration and control of the forest service: Provided, further, That this cession shall not be interpreted as limiting the power of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources to prescribe rules and regulations for the protection of game birds, mammals or fish within the area ceded to the municipality of Bayambang.
Section 2. Upon the express or implicit approval of this Act by the President of the United States, as provided in the Act of Congress approved on August twenty-ninth, nineteen hundred and sixteen, entitled "An Act to declare the purpose of the people of the United States as to the future political status of the people of the Philippine Islands, and to provide a more autonomous government for those Islands", the Governor-General shall so announce forthwith, by means of proclamation, and this Act shall take effect on the date of such proclamation.1
