AN ACT APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION OF A WHARF AND RIVER WALL, GARAGE, AND OTHER AUXILIARY STRUCTURES TO THE POST OFFICE BUILDING, MANILA, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in
Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:
Section 1. The following sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be at the disposal of the Director of Public Works, subject to the approval of the Secretary of Commerce and Communications, for the purposes mentioned hereunder:
| For the construction and completion of a wharf and river wall, garage, and other auxiliary structures for the Post Office Building, Manila; for the improvement of the adjoining grounds; and for the installation of elevators, lighting fixtures, pumping systems, clock system, and other equipment: Provided, That the funds appropriated for this project may only be expended with the approval of the Governor-General, after the Secretary of Finance has certified that funds are available for the same |
