AN ACT TO AMEND SUBSECTION (A) OF SECTION SEVEN HUNDRED AND THIRTY-THREE, AS AMENDED, AND SECTION SEVEN HUNDRED AND THIRTY-NINE OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, AND INSERT IN SAID CODE A NEW SECTION, SEVEN HUNDRED AND FORTY-THREE-A.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in
Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:

Section 1. Subsection (a) of section seven hundred and thirty-three of the Administrative Code as amended by Act Numbered Thirty-five hundred and thirty-six is hereby further amended to read as follows:

"(a) That he is of good moral character;"

Section 2. Section seven hundred and thirty-nine of the Administrative Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

"Section 739. Issuance of pharmacist's certificate.-An applicant who shall successfully pass the pharmacist's examination hereinabove prescribed shall receive a certificate of registration as pharmacist: Provided, however, That if the applicant who has passed the examination has not completed the age of twenty-one years, a certificate of registration as pharmacist shall not be issued to him until he shall have completed said age of twenty-one years, and he shall in the meantime not be allowed to practise as pharmacist."

Section 3. A new section is hereby inserted between sections seven hundred and forty-three and seven hundred and forty-four of the Administrative Code, to read as follows:

"Section 743-A. Persons exempt from registration.-Pharmacists of other countries called for consultation shall not be required to register."

Section 4. This Act shall take effect on its approval.1aшphi1
