AN ACT TO REORGANIZE THE MUNICIPALITY OF BULALACAO AND THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF BACO, IN THE PROVINCE OF MINDORO
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in
Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:
Section 1. The municipality of Bulalacao, in the Province of Mindoro, is hereby reorganized by reestablishing the two former municipalities of Mansalay and Bulalacao, which shall each have the same territory they had before they were consolidated.
Section 2. The municipal district of Baco, in the Province of Mindoro, is hereby reorganized by reestablishing the two former municipalities of Baco and San Teodoro which shall each have the same territory they had before they were consolidated.
Section 3. In case of any dispute concerning the boundary between the municipalities of Bulalacao, Mansalay, Baco, and San Teodoro, organized by virtue of this Act, the Provincial Board of Mindoro shall establish such boundary in accordance with the provisions of the Administrative Code.
Section 4. The municipal officers in office in the municipality of Bulalacao and the municipal district of Baco on the date when this Act shall take effect, shall continue to hold office until their successors shall have been elected at the general election of nineteen hundred thirty-one and shall qualify. The necessary municipal officers for the new municipalities of Mansalay and San Teodoro shall be provided in accordance with law.1aшphi1
Section 5. The salaries of the municipal officers of Baco, Bulalacao, Mansalay, and San Teodoro shall not exceed the maximum assigned by law to the class of municipalities to which they belong.
Section 6. All the provisions of the Municipal Law and Provincial Law shall hereafter apply to the municipalities organized in accordance with this Act.
Section 7. All acts and provisions of law in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.
Section 8. This Act shall take effect on January first, nineteen hundred and twenty-nine.
