AN ACT TO REORGANIZE THE DISTRICTS OF BONGABONG AND PUERTO GALERA, PROVINCE OF MINDORO, AS MUNICIPALITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in
Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:
Section 1. The districts of Bongabong and Puerto Galera, Province of Mindoro, are hereby organized as municipalities, with their present territory.
Section 2. The municipal officers who upon the approval of this Act are at the head of said districts shall continue to hold office until their successors shall have been duly elected and qualified in the election of nineteen hundred and twenty-eight.
Section 3. The salaries of the municipal officers of Bongabong and Puerto Galera shall not be in excess of the maximum established by law for the class of municipalities to which they belong.ℒαwρhi৷
Section 4. Hereafter all the provisions of the Municipal Law and Provincial Law shall be applicable to the municipalities organized under this Act.
Section 5. All acts and provisions of law inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 6. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
