AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF THE BUREAU OF NON-CHRISTIAN TRIBES, WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE SECRETARY OF THE INTERIOR, TO PURCHASE THE UPPER PORTION OF BUD DATTU MOUNTAIN, ISLAND OF JOLO, SULU ARCHIPELAGO, TO BE MADE INTO A PUBLIC PARK.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philipjnnes in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:
Section 1. The Director of the Bureau of Non-Christian Tribes is hereby authorized, with the approval of the Secretary of the Interior, to purchase under such terms and conditions as he may see fit, all the upper portion of Mount Bud Dattu in the Island of Jolo, Sulu Archipelago, to be made into a public park by the provincial government of Sulu.
Section 2. There is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of twenty thousand pesos to be expended by the provincial board of Sulu, for the acquisition of a site, laying out, and construction of park and approaches to the same, and buildings and appurtenances, to be known as Raja Baguinda Park in memory of Raja Baguinda, which park shall comprise an area of not more than sixty-five hectares at the top of the mountain known as Bud Dattu in the municipal district of Maimbung, Province of Sulu.ℒαwρhi৷
Section 3. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
